We built TestBranch to explore an alternative approach to investing ‐ one based on automation, personal responsibility and decentralized infrastructure.


Our Approach

Our goal is to build trading infrastructure that is automated, transparent and decentralized. TestBranch combines algorithmic research, software engineering and disciplined risk management help achieve this.

Our focus is on continuous improvement: backtesting strategy variations against historical data, monitoring live performance closely, and making carefully evaluated improvements based on research and observed performance.

We use AI extensively to aid research, software development and internal tooling.

How We Trade

We run multiple algorithmic strategies on Hyperliquid — a high-performance decentralized perpetuals exchange.

Each strategy operates independently with its own logic, capital allocation and risk parameters etc. There are no discretionary trading decisions — every trade is generated and executed automatically according to predefined rules.

The Software

Our algorithmic trading platform is custom built. It is primarily written in TypeScript. We also use Java and SQL and various web technologies where appropriate. It runs continuously on our own server.

A private web based portal provides a real-time view of positions, past trades, strategy performance, capital allocation and system health. Operational controls are available through a secure Telegram interface, allowing the trading platform to be managed remotely.
